June 19, 2003 Fanned by strong southerly winds, the Picture Fire in the Tonto National Forest, north of Roosevelt Lake made multiple runs on Thursday afternoon. Update
June 21, 2003 Strong winds on Friday caused the Picture Fire in the Tonto National Forest, north of Roosevelt Lake, to make a 2.5 mile run. Update
June 21, 2003 Firefighters continued to make progress on the Picture Fire on the Tonto National Forest Sunday. Line construction efforts are now concentrated on the north and east sides of the fire with containment estimated at 50%. News Release
