Firefighters Shift Into “Rehab & Demob” Mode
CAMP VERDE, Arizona, July 5, 2005. Fire officials on the North Zone of the Cave Creek Complex announced late Monday that significant progress had been made in containment efforts on the northern and northeastern portions of the fire line. The diminished fire activity allowed firefighters to change tactics and gain the upper hand on this fire, which only grew by 150 acres on Monday. The North Zone now contains 31,150 of the nearly 250,000 acres burned in the Cave Creek Complex. More
