This site provides general information about Oltrogge's
Southwest Area Incident Management Team and its assignments.
It is not intended to be a comprehensive source of incident information.
Sixteen national "Type 1" incident management
teams (IMTs) are assigned to manage large-scale, complex incidents.
These incidents usually involve large wildfires, but may also include
hurricanes and other natural disasters, as well as other national
emergencies.
Southwest Incident Management Team members are experts
in finance, logistics, operations, information, safety, and planning, and are drawn from many local, state, and federal agencies
throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. |
